Anime Gems Season 4: Ghost Hound

Here’s one of those stories that start out in a place that’s normal and boring, except for that one or two things that are a little odd. Is it just the people, or maybe the weather, isn’t everybody a little stressed out?

Stranger things have happened here, so it’s no reason to worry, even if it seems a little off. Maybe you should stop asking around, things are the way they’ve always been, and that’s a good thing. After all, what’s in the past should stay in the past.

Ghost Hound might not be the right show for you. It is a steep investment. It’s overly long-winded, strange and disappointing. It’s far off what people would normally associate with anime. But then again, it doesn’t pretend to be something it is not. Production and overall quality is quite good, and that’s no surprise, considering the writer, director, and studio.

So if, by any chance, you’re still watching after the first few episodes, maybe you’ll decide to just check out the next one, because you can quit any time you want to, just to see what’s up with this odd thing that’s going on. Just one more episode.
